Development Services and Permitting
Bridgeport
Village Development Application
AEA worked with Opus Northwest and Center Oak Properties to prepare
the necessary application materials and obtain land use approvals for
the Bridgeport Village development, located in the cities of Tualatin
and Tigard. AEA coordinated submittal of the architectural, landscape
and engineering elements for the Tualatin Design Review Board and the
Public Facilities review of the Bridgeport Village application. When
developed, Bridgeport Village will provide more than 600,000 square
feet of new, high-quality retail and office space, structured parking,
and significant off-site transportation improvements. [back]
Eagle Landing Zone Change and Master Plan
Chris Eaton has been the project manager and land use planner for the
property owner of a 92-acre site in Clackamas County in the Portland
metropolitan area since 1998. She led land use planning for a controversial
and successful zone change that changed the Open Space designation on
a privately owned golf course to a mixed-use plan with four zones, and
a Development Concept for a pedestrian friendly, mixed-use development.
Following the zone change, Chris won over previous opponents by inviting
a wide variety of stakeholders to participate in a design charrette
to develop the basic design elements for the Master Plan of the site.
The Master Plan proposal includes innovative green infrastructure elements,
stream restoration and mitigation, a 30-acre park site and areas of
dense mixed-use development.
Chris successfully completed the approvals for the Master Plan in
2003, and continues to work with the property owner, Veritas Investments,
LLC, as a key representative in other entitlements, including preparation
of Conditional Use and Subdivision applications. Chris used her excellent
communication skills in coordinating a large team of consultants in
developing the complex land use application packages.
Angelo Eaton & Associates has worked extensively with the Beaverton
School District to complete a number of land use applications including
Comprehensive Plan Amendments, Conditional Use Permits, Design Review,
