Growth Management and Comprehensive
Planning

Angelo Planning Group has provided assistance in implementing Oregon’s growth management goals through a variety of projects for our clients. Our work addresses issues of:

• Mixed use, redevelopment, and infill
• Transportation and land use relationships
• Transportation alternatives
• “Smart growth” in towns and small cities
• Evaluation of potential urbanization areas
• Planning for urbanizing areas

Growth management projects rely on our broad experience in other jurisdictions, knowledge of best practices, skills in group facilitation, code development, and project management. These assets allow us to help groups articulate a vision and then move plans along through implementation.

APG has teamed with local jurisdictions to assure compliance with regional and state growth management guidelines. APG has provided code assistance, public outreach, and report preparation for Metro Functional Plan Compliance Reports in the Portland metropolitan region. We routinely work with jurisdictions on Periodic Review Tasks, which include preparation and adoption of land use code, transportation system plans, natural resource protection programs, and urban service agreements.
